Mason Jars

I need some in blue terribly.

So I can do this...

and this...

or this.

How 'bout a mason jar full of sweet tea on a nice sunny afternoon?
(like Breann did this past Sunday)
I could definitely do that too.

Let me know if you see any out and about in the Houston area.
I would love to avoid a bidding war on Ebay and
paying $20+ for shipping and handling.

Mucho gracias,

The Easton

(ok, I'm almost done with the London posts.  maybe.)

The Easton is my favorite pub in London.  It's located in Northeast London, Islington to be exact, and conveniently located a block from Hannah and Seth's apartment.

Here's what I fell in love with.

{the simple decor}

{the oldness and charm}

{the daffodils and the Guinness}

{the pops of red}

{love the unexpected wallpaper}

Rumor has it (per Hannah and Seth) the food is tasty as well!

This little piggy went to market.

Borough Market that is.

Borough Market is a large wholesale and retail market in London
where we spent a few hours tasting food and drinking cider.
I enjoyed every minute and mouthful!

And I didn't just stop there.
I ate and drank my way through London.
True story.
Here's proof.

Sticky Toffee pudding-- a yummy British dessert.

Seth working his magic in the kitchen.

I'm off to raid the pantry... I worked up a bit of an appetite writing this post.

p.s. must get a new treadmill SOON!

We're back...

and still recovering from jet lag.

London is such a fun city.
Good times were had by all.

Our hosts, Hannah and Seth, were the best part about our trip.
We miss these two and Bar-B-Q already, and can't
wait for their move back home in July.

{Seth and Hannah}

Here's the Bar-B-Q. He even has his own passport!

My Gherkin and The Gherkin

Two Lufkinites reunite in London...

More about our trip to the UK to come soon.

New Wheels

Did I mention that everything broke on us at once?  Oh yea, I did mention that here.  Missing off that list is Tony's car.  Yep, his windows will not work and the lights, well, they have a mind of their own.

With over 150,000 miles on Tony's car knowing it would likely cost more to fix it than it's worth and my car about to be put in the body shop we decided that Tony gets a new car.

Here's Tony's new ride:

P.S.  I hate dealing with car salesman!
