a giveaway: My Memories

My Memories has offered one lucky reader the opportunity to win a copy of My Memories Suite software for free (a $40 value).

My Memories is an award winning digital scrapbook software that is extremely easy and fun to use.  It's also rated #1 by Amazon and TopTen Reviews.  The software allows anyone to create digital scrapbooks, photobooks, cards, calendars and gifts without having to buy expensive and complicated software programs.

My Memories also gave me a copy of their software to play around with, and I love it.  I haven't had much time to play around with it (so is the life of living with a child who doesn't sit still...ever), but here are a few things I've done with the software so far.

First, I spruced up my twitter page with a new background provided by My Memories Suite. You can check it out here.

Then I tried my hand at making a photo page which took me all of 3 minutes since it was so easy especially with the drag and drop feature.

After seeing this idea online (thanks again, Pinterest) I found a background page from My Memories Suite called burlap, printed it on cardstock, framed it in an extra frame we had laying around the house, and made a little DIY dry erase board for our mudroom.

Here's the low-down on how to enter:

Visit the My Memories website, look around, then come back and tell me what you would do if you won the software. What would you create?  Be sure to include your e-mail in the comment so I can contact you if you win.

That's it and that's all. A winner will be announced a week from today, on Friday, September 23rd along with a special promo code for the rest of you guys.

I loved looking at the My Memories site and am happy to have found them through you. It would be so exciting to win this software. We are expecting our first grandchild in one month and I want to make digital bragbooks to show off him/her - yes for some there still will be surprises in life :)

I have 2 projects I've been itching to start. First, I would love to use the My Memories software to create a memory book of some really old love letters I found that my grandfather wrote to my grandmother when they were 17 years old. I'd love to be able to put some old pictures of them together with the letters. I also really want to create a dog book of my sweet chocolate lab Ellie! I couldn't definitely put this software to good use!

I would use the software to create the online photo book or just it to scrapbook my son's first year book.

I would create scrapbook pages for Park and would completely copy your dry erase board!

On a side note...what printer do you guys have?
(and no...I did not figure out the whole email thing!)

LOVE your dry-erase board idea!

I would use the software to create a memory book for my grandmother, who happens to turn 75 tommorrow (Happpy Birthday, Nan!) I would love to create something she can look at to see all 14 grandchildren, and to also remember my grandfather who passed 5 and a half years ago. The idea of potentially giving her something that would have every single family member in it is really, really special due to the fact it's hard to get all 20+ of us together at one time!

The webiste also seems pretty easy to use and it looks like there's plenty of themes to choose from. I have a feeling I could spend WAY too much time on it!;)

I have two boys, ages 4 and 18 months. I have all the tools to create a scrapbook and can't seem to find the space in our house or time to complete a scrapbook. I am much more inclined to create something digitally. I'm embarrassed to admit I have everything & haven't completed a scrapbook of my boys first years!

I'd definitely start with both boys scrapbooks from birth to 1 year!

How cool! Not sure if this is an option but I'd try to use it to design my Christmas cards. And definitely to create a scrapbook from Field's first year. (haven't done that yet!)

I plan to make 1st year scrapbooks for many members of the family of Logan for Christmas and this would be perfect! I have been looking for a way to get more creative with the photos I take of him!

Hello, Mr. P's Mommy,
I've been reading your blog since the last few months of your pregnancy. I was pregnant with my first son also and prayed for your family daily. It's been so wonderful to now be able to see your little one growing like a weed...happy and healthy:) I would definitely use the software for a memory book for Britton's 1st year. I have been completely unmotivated @ scrapbooking so far and this might be just the incentive I need:)

I would do just about everything it offers especially the digital book option, I make one for the grandparents every year. It would be nice to create my own instead of using the generic ones online!!
