DIY stationary

I tried my hand at DIY stationary for Preston's thank you notes for his birthday party.

I ordered a hand carved initial stamp from Sarah at Creatiate ...

Picked up some cards, envelopes, and an ink pad from PaperSource ...

put the 4 together and we had some easy, inexpensive, unique stationary.

Love the way they turned out.

Cost:  envelopes, cards, ink pad from Paper Source $24, stamp $9= $33
The thank you cards/stationary I had my eye on and almost ordered was over $70
Looks like we'll be making more of our own stationary.

Love it! We did handmade ones too! Just bought some basic cream blank notecards and envelopes from Papyrus and a blue stamp non-toxic ink pad from Michaels. Used his hand for handprint on the front, a fancy pen to write "Thank You" and voila! SO cute, and you are right...soooo much less expensive!!! That said, getting him to ink his hand...not so much fun!

BTW—got a Cozy Coupe for birthday too...and he loves it. In and out. In and out. In and out. In and Out. And repeat!
He also now says, "Vroom, vroom!"

Those are great! I love them! Another super easy way to make cute paper at home is here: http://www.livinglifegratefully.blogspot.com/2010/11/just-call-me-martha.html

It's literally nothing more than card stock, envelopes and ribbon but looks SO cute!
