another first: the aquariam

The aquarium was a huge hit.  Mr. Gherkin and I could have set back and enjoyed an adult beverage (next time we will) because Preston was completely in awe of the fish.  He stood there forever and occasionally tried to catch them.

Below is one of my top 10 favorite pictures of Preston. Not sure if you can tell from the angle of the photo, but his face was full of determination.  He wanted one of those fish.  Sorry, buddy, it doesn't work that way in an aquarium.

Should we go ahead and put a mini fishing pole on your Dear Santa list?

Ok, so glad to see this post. I have been trying to come up with a fun activity each week to take the kids to now that we don't have school and this is perfect. Precious pictures and so glad P enjoyed it. I can only imagine Quinn throwing a fit when she can't get to the fish : )

YES!!! The aquarium is AMAZING and Luke adores it. Adores it. We go every two weeks or so because it's just that great for him...and yes, he wants to get the fish too! We have a 55 gallon saltwater tank (I hate it, but John gets to keep it now because Luke loves it!) and it's "ish, ish, ish" all day long!
