what's on my mind and a few photos.

First up, thank you for all the kind words for our family during my MawMaw's passing.  I actually meant to turn the comments off for that particular post because those were my personal thoughts that I simply chose to journal here on my blog. But you guys read through my memories and left comments so I'm glad I forgot, and thank you again for the condolences.

The services were beautiful.  Exactly the way she would've wanted. I'm taking the rest of the week off from Pineapples and Pickles.  So there will not be a product of the week post this week.  Instead of looking for/writing about products this week, let us all go find or call or write a loved one and tell them how much we love them.  After all, those are the "products" that truly count in the end, right?

I took a few pictures, and I'm in the process of editing them so hang tight, family, I will e-mail them as soon as I go through them all. Here are a few of my favorites though.

She valued relationships and it showed with a packed house.

This is what 60 years of marriage looks like.
This is what til death do us part looks like.
I am reluctant to post this picture, but I want it on my blog (just a couple clicks away at any given moment) to remind me of the vows I made a mere 5 years ago.  Five years ain't got nothing on sixty. Sixty years!

His new toy that occupied his time during the graveside service. He played and had fun ... she wouldn't have had it any other way.

Oh, Tiff that middle picture gave me chills. You will cherish those forever. I found myself going thru the last pics I had of my nana just a couple of days ago. Big hugs friend.

The picture just made me bust into tears. My grandparents have been married for 66 years and still kicking. I can't imagine one without the other.

Prayers and Hugs to all of you.

I am so sorry for your loss. But how blessed to have such a testament to love, faith and marriage in your life. 60 years is amazing. I'd love to make it that long.
