Quite a bit happened during my blogging hiatus. One very exciting thing happened that I couldn't wait to blog about, but I kept my commitment to no blogging during lent.
We practiced hiding and hunting Easter eggs on Saturday afternoon. There was one special egg for Preston, though. A fortune egg if you will.
I helped him get started, but soon he was egg hunting all on his own.
After all the eggs were found, dropped a few times, and cracked, I sat down with him to open the special egg.
Then we gave him his first "big brother" memorabilia.
So it looks like Baby V no. 2 will be joining us this fall --- we couldn't be more excited.
Preston, on the other hand, is not too sure. Or maybe he is. We've asked him every which way you can imagine over the past five weeks if he wants a baby brother or a baby sister. His answer more times that not is a firm and very sure "no, no."
Very grateful for the new life we celebrate today --- both in Jesus Christ and the resurrection & in the opportunity we have to bring new life into this world. I give God all the glory.
